About me
Danny Cheng, also known as 852hk, is the Founder and CEO of DaXxX GrouP, a Hong Kong-based digital media and technology group established in 2003. Danny built his first website, fungfung.net, in 1997. The platform quickly became a popular online community in Hong Kong and was even featured by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), marking the beginning of his journey in the digital industry.
After graduating from the United Kingdom, Danny developed extensive experience across business, technology, digital media, and project management through roles at leading international organizations including PwC, American Express, CK Hutchison Holdings, and LexisNexis.
In 2003, he founded DaXxX GrouP, initially focusing on radio podcasting and e-commerce ventures. Over the years, the group expanded into multiple digital platforms, including the video entertainment hub DaxFC.com in 2017, and HKCars.org in 2024, a project aiming to build Hong Kong's first car museum for automotive enthusiasts.
In 2025, Danny revived and completely rebuilt the iconic fungfung.net with a modern vision, continuing its legacy of innovation and community engagement. In 2026, he further launched HKHome.ai, an AI-powered property discovery platform that helps people in Hong Kong search for their ideal homes using natural language and intelligent recommendations.
With more than 20 years of experience in the web industry, Danny specializes in digital strategy, web project management, content management, and AI-driven innovation. Known for his strong analytical thinking and fast learning ability, he is passionate about leveraging technology to create engaging digital experiences and meaningful online communities.
